Oppdal

The Gudbrandsdal Valley past Rise opens up. To the right rises the steep-sided Ålmenberg (1,340m/4,397ft; three hours' climb from Oppdal). The road then comes to Oppdal, a road junction and tourist center. E 6 continues northeast to Trondheim (122km/76mi). Road 70 diverges to the left and runs through the Sunndal to Kristiansund (165km/103mi).
