Dorchester - High Street Area
As well as the quite interesting Town Hall (1847), High East Street, High West Street and Cornhill/South Street (pedestrianized) boast numerous picturesque 17th-19th century houses and inns. Note especially the King's Arms and Borough Arms in High East Street (both 17th century).
