The Carib Territory dominates Dominica's eastern side. Small fishing villages and windy beaches are also at hand.

Marigot - Silks Hotel (formerly Habitation Chabert)
Silks Hotel was formerly a museum which has now been turned into a luxury hotel furnished in Creole style. The building itself was originally a 19th Century lime and sugar factory. The lush gardens and stone work add a tropical atmosphere to the hotel.

Northeast Coast Beaches
On the northeast coast, four beaches are among Dominica's most beautiful.

L'Anse Noire, Hodges Beach, Woodford Hill Bay, and Hampstead Beach though attractive are not great for swimming. Divers and snorkelers often come here, even though the water can be rough at times.

Sari-Sari Waterfall
Cascading 150ft/45m the Sari-Sari Waterfall with a swimmable pool at its base is so large the spray can be felt for hundreds of meters.
