Kálymnos Khorió

Northwest of the town of Kálymnos is the former capital of the island of Kálymnos, Khorió (17th century), with a Byzantine castle.

Above Khorio are the remnants of a Franco-Byzantine "Outer Castle." Around the town there remain ruins of the church of Jesus of Jerusalem, built towards the end of the A.D. fourth century.
