Metropolitan State College
Metropolitan State College was established in 1965, and is the largest public four-year undergraduate institution in the United States. There are several historic church buildings on the campus.

Near the Auraria Campus, beyond Cherry Creek, is the Tivoli shopping and entertainment center.
Tivoli serves as a student union center for the three schools on Auraria Campus. The building was constructed in 1866.
