Skagen Museum

 
Skagen Museum at Brøndumsvej 4 contains paintings, drawings and sculptures by Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, British and German artists who have had some connection with the town. Most of the work dates from 1870-1930. Local artists in particular are represented by some superbly colorful paintings, including works by P. S. Kroyer (1851-1909) and Michael (1849-1909) and Anna (1859-1935) Ancher. The house of Michael and Anna Ancher (Michael og Anna Anchers Hus) at Markvej 2 is also furnished as a museum.
