To the west of Frederiksværk, on a spit of land at the confluence of the Isefjord and the Kattegat, will be found the fishing village of Hundested, once the home of the polar explorer Knud Rasmussen (1879-1933). At the Spodsbjerg Lighthouse (view) there is a Knud Rasmussen Museum with souvenirs of the explorer and his expeditions.
