Hee Attractions

In Hee, 7 km/4 mi north of RingkØbing, stands a 12th C. Romanesque church of granite slabs, which was restored about 1880. The north and south sides of the tower have a false roof in which were kept documents of the "Thing" (local assembly) which met in Hee during the Middle Ages. On the door of one of the cupboards in which ecclesiastical artifacts are stored is a representation of "The Man of Sorrows" framed by the arms of some famous families. Note also the granite font and a Triumphal Cross dating from about 1450.
