Deloraine - Surroundings

There is good trout fishing in the Meander and Mersey Rivers. On the Lake Highway is Calstock, an old stud farm. There are attractive excursions to a number of waterfalls in the area - Liffey Falls, Meander Falls (half an hour's drive south), Montana Falls - to the central plateau by way of Golden Valley (Lake Highway) and to the Marakoopa and King Solomon Caves (Mole Creek).
