Georgetown Attractions
Georgetown was established in 1791 when the Seat of Justice was moved to the community. The center of the town, known as The Circle, is listed in the National Historic Register and is the site of the original Courthouse.
Elsie Williams Doll Collection
The Elsie Williams Doll Collection is housed in the Delaware Technical and Community College Library. Over 600 international and domestic dolls are on display. Elsie bequeathed her doll collection to the college in 1990, while Anna Teel donated her extensive collection in 1992.
Some of the dolls are handmade from countries around the world, while others are dressed in traditional native costumes and special occasion garments.

Nutter D. Marvel Carriage Museum
The Marvel Carriage Museum is located on a compound where Mr. Marvel kept his horses and at a later date, his collection of carriages and memorabilia of horse racing. The collection consists of horse-drawn carriages, photos, newspapers, clippings, books and other memorabilia. Buildings on the site include barrel roof barns, a 100-year old church, a one-room schoolhouse, blacksmith shop and railroad freight buildings.
