Description
Located in the freight room of a 1926 Mediterranean Revival Seaboard Air Line railway station, the South Florida Railway Museum contains exhibits related to railroad history. Various artifacts and displays show the impact that the railway had on the economic and cultural life of Southern Florida especially during the 1940's to the 1960's. The Seaboard Air Line Railway was involved in a race with Henry Flagler's East Coast Railway to break new ground in the region.
