The 1920 School was used until 1926, once it was vacant a jailhouse was added and it became City Hall.

Today the 1920 Deerfield School features a fully restored period classroom on one side, complete with desks, schoolbooks, ink wells, display cases with exhibits featuring toys, games, attendance books, lunchboxes, a stereoscope, and numerous other items. The other side is used for meetings.

Tours, lectures and other events take place at this location as well.
