Dayton - Patterson Homestead Historic Museum

The Patterson Homestead Historic Museum in Dayton is a Federal style house built in the first half of the 19th Century. It belonged to Colonel Robert Patterson and his family. The Patterson Homestead was eventually donated to the City of Dayton in 1953 by one of grandsons of the original family. It now serves as a historical museum and displays 18th and 19th Century furniture, most of which came with the house when it was donated, and belonged to the original family. Additional donations have also enhanced the collection of the Patterson Homestead Historic Museum.
