Description
Nowadays the railroad to Dawson Creek is freight only. The old Northern Alberta Railway station, built in 1931, houses the Dawson Creek Station Museum with displays about the local wildlife, the culture of the Cree Indians, pioneer days, historic grain silos from the 1930s, and a small art gallery and tourist information center.

The Dawson Creek Station Museum has two galleries. The first is the old Northern Alberta Railway offices and the second is the Natural History gallery. The Natural History Gallery covers a wide range of time periods and locations and includes a mammoth tusk.
