Vereina-Bahn Description
Construction began in 1988 of a tunnel which at the turn of this century will enable motorists to avoid using the Flüela pass between Davos and Unterengadin which is frequently impassable. A 19km/11mi-long tunnel is being excavated between Klosters and Susch/Lawin, through which the motor-rail "Vereina-Bahn" will travel.
