Pribor Attractions
For those scholars of psychology, this town name should sound familiar. Pribor is the birthplace of Sigmund Freud (1856-1939). His home is found at Freudova 117. The house is a non descript, two story home with a small plaque on the wall to the left corner of the doorway.
There is also a monument near the main square of Pribor. This monument contains a bust of Freud strangely mounted on a tall thin rectangular stand. The monument is small and somewhat disappointing. There is one room at the local Pribor museum dedicated to Freud. They would like to have more items most of these are found in the major museums in Vienna and London.
The main square in Pribor is a good spot to sit, have a coffee and do a little internal psychoanalysis as you watch the world go by.
