Luhacovice Attractions
For those with achy bones from all their touring, Luhacovice is the spot to head to. This town has a myriad of hot springs and treatments to cure all that ails you. The hot spring water is described by some as having a briny tang to it and is especially good for curing respiratory illness.
Luhacovice has several spas or sanatoriums as they are called in the Czech Republic. Of particular note is the architectural style of these buildings. With their colorful facades and lively designs, some describe them as looking like large wooden cottages. The style in fact is called Folkoric Art Nouvau and the architect responsible for designing them was Dusan Jurkovic. Built in the early part of the 20th Century the buildings have recently been renovated with all the comforts of our modern age.
