Kromeriz Attractions
Kromeriz, east of Brno in Southern Moravia, was all but destroyed during the Thirty Years War. Consequently, most of what visitors will see in the town is from the late 17th Century and beyond. The main attraction in Kromeriz is the baroque Kromeriz Palace which is a must see, particularly for the fabulous art gallery. Apart from the palace, the town also has some unique architecture and interesting sights for travelers who decide to linger here a while.
Some of the notable buildings in Kromeriz include the baroque Church of St John the Baptist, the Gothic Cathedral of St Maurice (Chram sv Morice), and the town hall (Radnice).
