The city of Koprivnice has little to offer visitors, unless you are a car buff. This industrial city boasts the very interesting Tatra Musuem. Set in an architecturally stunning building, the Tatra Museum showcases the history of the company starting from its roots in 1897.
The 5000 sq m / 53,000 sq ft building showcases over 30 exhibits. The exhibits on display include a wide variety of automobiles, including an interesting armoured vehicle. Another unique display is known as the Slovak Projectile - a large railway express car. All the technical details are presented and a Tatra Museum gift shop is on the site.
