Lifegiving Spring Monastery Description
(Local Name: Zoodókhos Piyí / Káto Kalamiótissa) In the east of the island of Anáfi is the monastery of the Zoodókhos Piyí (Lifegiving Spring) or Káto Kalamiótissa, built on the site of a temple of Apollo and incorporating fragments of ancient masonry. Farther north are the ruins of another Venetian castle.
