Kutjevo, on the slopes of Krndija Mountain, is in the heart of a prominent region in Croatia. The town is famous for the Cistercian built monastery here in 1232, which was taken over by the Jesuits following the end of the Turkish reign. The Jesuits resumed cultivating fruits in the region.
