Gracisce Attractions

The small village of Gracisce, in central Istria, is just 7km / 4mi from Pazin and makes a nice day or half day trip. Walking through the old town of Gracisce visitors are treated to some interesting 14th to 16th architecture. The 15th Century Salmon Palace and the Bishop's Chapel are good examples of Venetian Gothic style architecture. From the 16th Century are the loggia, next to the town gates, and the Romanesque Church of St Euphemia (Sv Fumija). Also worth a look is the Church of St Mary, built in 1425.

Gracisce is a nice stop for those with extra time but does not warrant much more than a morning or afternoon visit.
