Corsica - Fête de l'Assumption and Napoleon's Birthday

The island of Corsica celebrates the Feast of Assumption on August 15 every year. Events begin long before the actual day, however, and end long after.

The festival program features dancing and singing in the streets, craft and food stalls, open-air entertainment and fireworks displays.
