Córdoba - Judería

In Plaza de las Bulas of Córdoba is the Casa Zoco, a 16th century house now occupied by the Museo Taurino, which has two sections devoted to the crafts of leatherwork and silversmithing in addition to the main section on bullfighting, which includes displays of bullfighting equipment and mementos of famous Córdoba-born toreros such as Lagartijo, Machaco, Guerrita, Manolete and El Córdobes.

North of the Córdoba Synagogue is Puerta de Almodóvar, a well preserved Moorish gate at the entrance to the old Ghetto.

To the north of the Bullfighting Museum in Córdoba is the Synagogue (1315), one of the oldest surviving synagogues in Spain.

The synagogue is located in the Jewish Quarter of Córdoba, the Judería. Today it is a museum and no longer functions in a religious capacity.
