Throughout the city of Cordoba during the week of Easter, 32 processions feature 60 stages of the Cross, complete with singing, nazarenes, penitents and incense.
The Feast of Nuestra Señora de la Salud, also know as the Feria de Mayo or May festival, features food, bullfights and other facilities. The festival takes place the last week of May.
St Raphael is honored on October 24 in Cordoba, with some establishments closing. A dish known as Perol, combining rice and meat, is traditionally made in conjunction with the Festivity of St Raphael.
The Fiesta de la Fuensanta in Córdoba, the celebration of the Virgin of the Fuensanta, takes placein early September. This celebration includes the standard fair type attractions, as well as performances, fireworks, and opportunities for sampling traditional food.
