Copenhagen - Grundtvig Church Grundtvigs Kirke
Halfway between Nørrebro and the Zoological Museum, Tagensvej leads northwest from Jagtvej to the Copenhagen district of Bispebjerg. Here stands Grundtvig Church (Grundtvigs Kirke), built between 1921 and 1940 by Peter Wilhelm Jensen Klint and named after the founder of the Adult Education movement.
Inspired by the style of the typical country churches of Denmark, the architect designed a tall and massive church building of yellow brick and clinker.
