Fishwife Statue Description
(Local Name: Fiskerkone) In Gammel Strand in central Copenhagen, on the opposite side of the canal from the Thorvaldsen Museum, can be seen the 1940 statue of an old fishwife (Fiskerkone). Every morning by the statue fish sellers offer their wares.
