Copenhagen - Danish Ballet and Opera Festival

This annual two-week festival takes place in late May and includes over 20 performances by internationally-acclaimed ballet and opera companies and orchestras. Since its inception in 1951 the festival has not only aimed to offer high-quality operas and ballets but also orchestral and chamber concerts, with repertoires ranging from classical to contemporary.

The performances take place in the Royal Theater and the Tivoli Concert Hall.
