Copenhagen - Church of the Holy Ghost 


(Local Name: Helligåndskirke) Walking along Strøget the visitor will come to the Church of the Holy Ghost (Helligåndskirke) and the Helligåndshus, which formerly belonged to a monastery and is Copenhagen's only medieval edifice. Amagertov 6 is believed to be the oldest private house in the city; it was built in 1616 by Burgomaster Hansen in the Dutch Baroque style and has a beautiful sandstone doorway. It now houses the showroom of the Royal Porcelain Factory. No. 10 is the well-known Illums Bollinghus store, which sells Danish handicrafts and designer goods.
