The Butterfly Pavilion and Insect Center in Westminster is the first stand-alone insect zoo in the US. Visitors will find themselves surrounded by more than 1,200 free-flying butterflies in the tropical conservatory. The Water's Edge exhibit allows an up close glimpse of shoreline tidepools. The Crawl-A-See-Em is a living habitat of tarantulas, cockroaches and centipedes that allow visitors to watch, touch, or take a closer look at.

Legacy Ridge is a public championship golf course in Westminster that opened in 1994. The scenery includes mountain views, wetlands, prairie grasses and rolling topography. The course is a Colorado-style Scottish links layout.
