Lakewood Attractions

Covering 2,500 acres, Bear Creek Lake Park is the largest park in Lakewood, with paved trails and 15 miles of soft surface trails. The park is home to a variety of wildlife such as snakes, birds, coyotes, prairie dogs, birds of prey, and deer.

At Fox Hollow Golf Course has three featured nine hole courses operated by the City of Lakewood.

Lakewood's Heritage Center is located on an old estate in Belmar Park, with 10 historic structures and an outdoor amphitheater. Over 30,000 artifacts have been preserved to present the history of the town.

There are free guided tours of the U.S. Geological Survey in Lakewood, which produces topographical and geological maps of the United States.
