Evergreen Attractions
Evergreen is a small town in the foothills west of Denver, it is surrounded by the Denver Mountain Parks System. At an elevation of 7,200 feet, the climate is hot summers and mild winters.

A few miles west of the city, on the eastern slopes of the Front Range, are the Denver Mountain Parks, a popular recreation area.

Hiwan Homestead Museum
The Hiwan Homestead Museum in Evergreen is housed in a 17-room lodge with rooms that offer a glimpse of life from 1890 to 1930. This local history museum has changing exhibits and maintains active craft and interpretive school programs.
