Fort Uncompahgre was a fur trading post built around 1826. Located in the 265-acre Confluence Park in Delta, it is now a living history museum. Interpreters in period attire provide "hands-on" guided tours.
Sweitzer State Park is located on a small lake outside of Delta. The park was built exclusively for recreational purposes and is very popular for boating and water skiing.
