Central City Attractions

The Gilpin History Museum in Central City is housed in a restored schoolhouse built in 1870 and used until the 1960's. It has a collection of antique dolls, a recreation of Main Street and artifacts from the mining history of the region.

The Thomas Historical House in Central City has historical exhibits and a collection of artifacts.
