Burlington Attractions
Burlington, with a population of 2,900, is one of the larger towns in eastern Colorado. It is located off Interstate 70 in Kit Carson County.
Kit Carson County Carousel
The Kit Carson County Carousel in Burlington is a fully operational antique ride built in the 1920's. The carousel still has original paint on the scenery panels and on the 46 hand-carved animals. The museum features the restoration of the Carousel and highlights the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and the Wurltizer Monster Military Band Organ.
Old Town Museum
The Old Town Museum in Burlington features turn-of-the-century furniture and relics in a series of 21 buildings reconstructed to resemble an old prairie town.
