The Comanche Crossing Museum highlights the history of the Strasburg area through exhibits that include late 19th century period rooms such as a doctor's office, cobbler's shop, beauty parlor and two relocated school buildings. The museum also commemorates the 1870 "joining of the rails", which was when the Denver extension of the Kansas Pacific Railway reached Strasburg.

The Butterfly Pavilion and Insect Center in Westminster is the first stand-alone insect zoo in the US. Visitors will find themselves surrounded by more than 1,200 free-flying butterflies in the tropical conservatory. The Water's Edge exhibit allows an up close glimpse of shoreline tidepools. The Crawl-A-See-Em is a living habitat of tarantulas, cockroaches and centipedes that allow visitors to watch, touch, or take a closer look at.
Bowles House Museum
The Bowles House Museum is an Italianate farmhouse in Westminster that is preserved by the Westminster Historical Society. Exhibits highlight the history of the area for the past 100 years.
Legacy Ridge Golf Course
Legacy Ridge is a public championship golf course in Westminster that opened in 1994. The scenery includes mountain views, wetlands, prairie grasses and rolling topography. The course is a Colorado-style Scottish links layout.
Brighton, Colorado
Brighton was incorporated in 1887 and is the seat of Adams County. Located north of Denver, Brighton has a growing population and a small town atmosphere.
Adams County Museum
The Adams County Museum in Brighton is located at the county fairgrounds outside of Brighton. The numerous exhibits highlight the history of the area including Native Americans, early settlers, pre-historic discoveries and replicas of a blacksmith shop, school and barber shop.
Riverdale Golf Course
Riverdale Golf Course is an 18-hole public course near Brighton. Designed as a Scottish style links course, Riverdale has pot bunkers, mounds, water and the trademark railroad ties.
