The Gallery of Contemporary Art is located within the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. The gallery highlights emerging and mid-career artists while offering related programming to the University, the community and the Pikes Peak region. The Gallery of Contemporary Art, UCCS opened to the public in January 1981, at the time it was the only venue dedicated to contemporary art in the region.
