Colorado Springs - Gallery of Contemporary Art

The Gallery of Contemporary Art is a non-profit, non-collecting visual art center and educational institution within the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. The mission of the gallery is to provide significant contemporary visual art exhibitions with an emphasis on emerging and mid-career artists while offering related programming to the University, the community and the Pikes Peak region. The Gallery of Contemporary Art, UCCS has been in operation since January 1981 when it was established as the only venue dedicated to contemporary art in the region. Gallery of Contemporary Art displays at least five exhibitions annually containing works by artists of significant national and international reputation, as well as works by outstanding regional, faculty and student artists. Educational programming for children and adults is provided.
