Köln - Phantasialand

Near Brühl, south of Cologne, is the Phantasialand amusement park, one of the largest of its kind in Europe, with a wide variety of attractions - a cableway, a white water run, a Viking boat trip, a Casa Magnetica in which the law of gravity is apparently suspended, a monorail, a reproduction of old Berlin, Chinatown (with pagodas and rickshaws), a Wild West town, a tiger enclosure, a dolphin show and a computer-controlled electronic show (a journey round the world represented by puppets).

Tips: Fridays are the best to visit, except when they follow a public holiday. April, May, September and October are the best months in which to visit.
