Blanot Cave Description
(Local Name: Grotte de Blanot) The Blanot Cave was discovered in 1739 and quickly became a popular research site for speleologists. The site is 80 meters below ground and is made up of numerous galleries and huge rooms, connected like a mass maze. There are abundant limestone formations as well as prehistoric remains such as flint stones and animal skeletons, many of which are on display.
