Cleveland - Dunham Tavern Museum
The Dunham Tavern Museum in Cleveland has the distinction of the being the oldest building in Cleveland still standing in its original location. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated Cleveland Landmark.
The building was constructed between 1824 and 1832 by Rufus and Jane Pratt Dunham who intended it to be their home. Due to its location on the stagecoach route, it was eventually turned into the Dunham Tavern. The building served many functions over the years before becoming the Dunham Tavern Museum. On display in the museum are 18th and 19th Century antiques.
