Cleveland - African American Museum (Closed Temporarily)

The African American Museum in Cleveland is located in the Icabod Flewellen Building. The museum looks at the history and accomplishments of African Americans. Visitors will see a various artifacts such as African masks, but the African American Museum is better known for its educational elements. The main themes of the museum include Africa Past and Present, Civil Movements in America, Reflections of Black Life in Cleveland, and Black Scientists and Inventors.
