On the south side of Clermont-Ferrand is the Musée du Bargoin (prehistoric and Gallo-Roman antiquities).

The museum was named after pharmacist Jean-Baptiste Bargoin. Archeological displays from the Neolihic Period and the Bronze Age are highlighted.
