Description
Architect Helmut Jahn incorporated a series of glass fronted semi arches so that Citicorp Center looks much like a 1930s streamlined jukebox, with a 1980s bluish glass and silver metal exterior. The complex was formerly called the Northwestern Atrium Center, partly because of its significant atrium. These offices and retail arcades sit above a commuter rail station which generates ongoing pedestrian traffic.
