Chianciano Terme - The Spa

The elegant spa area of Chianciano Terme occupies the southern part of the commune. In the Parco delle Fonti is the Stabilimento dell'Acqua Santa (spa establishment). To the east, beyond the Viale delle Terme, is the much larger Parco di Fucoli. The Bagni di Sillene spa establishment is some distance away to the west. The waters of Chianciano's three springs (Acqua Santa, Acqua di Sillene, Sorgente Sant'Élena) are mainly used (in the form of both drinking and bathing cures) for the treatment of diseases of the liver and gall bladder.
