Cheyenne - Frontier Days Old West Museum

In the north of the town, in Frontier Park (adjoining the rodeo arena), is the interesting Frontier Days Old West Museum, with much information about rodeos and a number of the old coaches and wagons in which the first settlers came to the Wild West.

In the Frontier Days festival, held annually in the last week in July, the Wild West comes to life again. Hundreds of thousands of spectators come to watch spectacular rodeos, cowboy shows, chuckwagon races, parades and a mock battle between Sioux Indians and the United States Cavalry.
