Charleston - State Capitol

Considered by many locals to be the best looking State Capitol Building in the United States, the Charleston State Capitol Building is a fine example of public building architecture. Similar in design to most capitol buildings, the Charleston State Capitol is fronted by Corinthian columns and has a large gold dome on top. Of note inside the building is the massive chandelier suspended from the top of the dome.
