Cernobbio Travel
Cernobbio (201m/663ft; pop. 7,500), with many villas set in beautiful gardens and the palatial Villa d'Este (1568; now a hotel). From here a narrow road winds its way up (16km/10mi) to Monte Bisbino (1,325m/4,373ft; views), on which there is a pilgrimage church.
