Franz Liszt Birthplace Description
In Raiding, east of Burg Landsee, stands the house in which the composer Franz Liszt was born. It is now a museum and open to visitors; notes, documents, photos and a marble bust of Liszt are on display. He gave a concert in Ödenburg at the tender age of nine. His daughter's second husband was Richard Wagner. Franz Liszt died in Bayreuth in Germany.
