Description
This plantation is only open to pre-arranged tours. Visitors start at the 19th-century estate house and receive a demonstration of Creole cuisine. They view an 18th-century waterwheel plus the romantic ruins and machinery of bygone agricultural production. Next the group takes a Boston whaler up the last navigable river in St Lucia, viewing fauna ranging from cacti to lush foliage. The visit concludes with a buffet lunch served on the verandah.
