Castelvetrano - Grandi Cavi

Grandi Cavi is the name of another ancient quarry. It is situated on the eastern bank of the River Modione, which flows into the sea at Selinunte, and is shown on the map as Latomie. It is 7km/4mi east of Campobello and can also be reached from Castelvetrano (about 5km/3mi in a southeasterly direction on a side-road which runs parallel to the SS 115).
